Van der Vaart out for six weeks

An MRI scan has confirmed that Rafael van der Vaart has suffered a hamstring tear.The Holland international injured his left hamstring in last weekend's home match against Manchester City and is expected to be sidelined for up to six weeks. _{(from www.tottenhamhotspur.com)}
Van der Vaart will miss Premier League games against Wolves, Liverpool and Wigan, and the north London derby against Ars*nal at White Hart Lane.

This may actually be a bit of a blessing in a funny sort of a way, we will have to now play a proper 4-4-2 with two strikers and two wingers. It may give Adebayor, Defoe and Pavlyuchenko a chance to get some much needed game time and confidence and hopefully a chance to find their shooting boots.
