Just keep pissing him off then..... I'm running out of ideas.

Orient could fit anyone into their midfield....

cutting off a 25m nose to spite your face is poor judgement.

dont get mad, get even.

Modric for Drogba + 15m (and they get to pay off Drogba to accomodate his wage at Spurs on a 2yr contract).

I suspect the REAL business and its planning are being done as we spk. Arry will [prob get like for like in Joe Cole for 22m less than Modric brings in

If we sign Joe Cole then I give up. The guy is the most overrated piece of s**t in the world.

personally, I think Levy would have sold Modric last summer, if Cole had come here instead of choosing Liverpool.

Cole aint that bad, was wasted at up-and-under Liverpool. at Spurs tho he would score/assist at about the same rate as Modric even now.

Cole is s**t. He doesn't even play the same position as Modric so the two simply can't be compared.

before last season, Modric played left-midfield and drifted inside. thats what Cole usuallly did at Chelsea. can't see why Cole would have more problems adaptin to the centre-midfield than Modric.

and 2yrs ago, wasnt everyone calling Bale a leftback ?

watch this one play out by August, Cole + Drogba in and Modric gone.

Being a centre midfielder it's easier to go out wide but to do the opposite is extremely hard.

Cole is in his 30's, on a stupid wage and has turned us down once. He is a shocking player who is past it and shouldn't be anywhere near our squad, let alone our starting 11.

The second point is a fact.

Liverpool will demand (and get) around 3m for Cole in order to pay off the difference of his current 100k a week wage and 80k a week (what Spurs will pay him).... 20k a week multiplied by 3yrs left of his Pool contract..

Cole will bring CL/title winning experience as well as ability to play a variety of positions.

Arry loves Joe Cole too.

its so obvious to happen, now with Modric on the way out.

Like we would make Joe Cole our highest paid player. If that happens I'll give you fifty quid.

Cole's high wage would be explained by his low transfer-fee, just as if it happened last summer if he chose Spurs.

ditto Drogba (after Chelsea pay him off with a golden-parachute in order to land Modders)

I think you're right. When Modric goes Harry will try for Cole again, and probably get him this time. Cole thought he was going to better than us when he joined Liverpool and that went off in his face so he will no doubt be happy to come to Spurs this time, and as you say he will be cheap enough. Wether he is really worth another shot is doubtful, we could do a lot better and although he could play CM it's not his  natural position. Plus as with Drogba there will be no sell on as this will no doubt be his last move.

Yes and I actually doubt Drogba would even show up. The real Drogba, I mean, I cannot see him being motivated to play for us.

Well no I have thought that myself. What makes anybody think Drogba would want to come to us. He could no doubt get a good deal in Italy or make a fortune in The States.
