So your saying Redknapp is better than the great man? Hahahahaha. Don't be an idiot please.

"The stats don't lie"

If your not saying that then why include stats? They mean nothing then.

Some idiots, sorry fans, should look at the stats for Harry...he is 4th in the table of the top 20 managers in the clubs history...with 51.16% win tally(Based on win % in all competitions)...well ahead of Martin Jol and Bill Nicholson..and only behind Frank Brettell,Arthur Turner and John Cameron who have managed our club from 1898/1907!!

The stats dont lie!

In Redknapp we trust!

Kind of implying that Redknapp has done better!!!!

This season hasnt been bad overal and we are in Europe but bottom line is if not for losing daft points it could and should have been so so much better that is where the dissappointment lies for most of us!

And Arrys lack of respect for the fans shows what a wide boy c*nt he really is, I just wish he would put his heart into and concentrate on the job and stay out the f**king media!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Not implying that at all...i merely pointed out that Redknapp has one of the best win percentages at the club...at the end of the day thats what its all about...winning games and finishing as high up the table as possible..its a results business and Redknapp has got the 4th best result record at the club...its not hard to understand like.

But my main problem with Redknapp isn't what he has done with us. It's with what he says.

Well thanks for the stats I guess  :P  made my day knowing that

Still doesnt alter the fact that we stuffed up this season and Arrys comments that it couldnt be any better and better than last season in addition to the insults directed fans who support THFC make Arry a  :tossa: in the eyes of many.

If he could just do his job and button it then the core that are anti Arry would be nearly non existent!

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

in the eyes of many.

This is the truth. So many have changed their view lately. Before yesterday I'd say 70% of the people I spoke to defended Harry, after yesterday most have said that his quotes yesterday was going too far and were bang out of order. If we are going to call these fans "fake", "idiots" and "glory hunters" then we will have no fans left that actually follow this team.

Well said metal/218. My stats merely pointed out that harry was wrong in saying that this season is the best it can get, when last season was better. And yes, Harry should concentrate on making sure win games and embracing the passion of the fans rather than slagging them off for daring to criticise and spending time rehearsing lines for the Harry Redknapp Comic Road Show on Sky

I actually can't remember a game this season when the fans have turned on the team. Even losing 4-0 to Fulham we were taking the piss.

Humm...This is starting to get out of hand i reckon. I'm trying to look at this objectively, there seem to be those that are backing Harry to the hilt, and those that are seriously pissed with Harry.

I'm a big Fan of Harry, I think we are playing some fantastic football, and agree that this has been a great season. But as the Gaffer of the club it was very unwise to be calling Fans "Idiots" for the 2ND time, and saying that Fans should support another team if they don't like what they are seeing was a bit like a baby throwing his toys out of his pram.

TBH what Harry said is exactly what I have been feeling of late when I read some of the posts in this forum, It amaze me how we as supporters, consider how average we have been as a team for 20 years+, can slag of the current team. But unlike me, he has a greater responsibilty and should really know better. Makes it a bit worse as it the 2nd time he has used the phrase idiot in a matter of weeks. You would have thought the PR guys would have advise him better after the first incident.

One last point, Harry frustration seems to be targeted at an individual who was slagging of the team on a radio program, and not at the Spurs Fans as a whole. Actually when the reporter asks "and they still grumble" Harry Answer was "I haven't heard anyone Grumble"

How this season is described is all down to how you break it down and the importance each individual places on various achievements:

for example playing in the CL and the results we got was a great expereince and a dam fine achievement to make the last 8 on our first shot, proud of the club and lads.  Over hauling the Goons and bindippers awesome and at long last, loved it!

Finishing 5th, that is a good position and brings euro footi (many seasons before we would call that a huge success) but with the squad and their ability we should have made top 4 again (not a right but we should have earnt it thats how far we have come) and which would have been a big step in moving forward further.  5th though is not the disaster some supporters claim it to be.......... we are in europe !

Poor runs in the domestic cup and losing way way to many points to the weaker teams has been our down fall in the PL as it has for many years, its just this season it would have made the difference and we could have finished 3rd!

IMO its been a good season with the results both at home and in the CL, my biggest grumble though is not the 4-0 whooping given by Fulham or losing points to Blackpool or the spammers but its been the Redknapp circus and his flapping in the media.  Dont get me wrong I like the footi we play (on our day) but the guy grits my s**t with his constant media circus and his transfer targets such as bloody Beckham and C Adam.

In all a good season and hopefully we can learn from certain mistakes and mount a strong challenge for the top 4 next season, I am certain we can do it!

In Arry do I trust ????? as a coach 50/50 as a person not a f**king hope

Interesting quote from Roy Hodgson on Sky yesterday " Managers are measured on results, not performances". Too damn right ! Sums up our season perfectly.

A very good post Pie Boy, if i was a manager i would call some of the fans even worse but would probably have the sense to not say it so publicly. Times are changing (just ask Giggs) and the media would allows everyone, even the loony fringe, a voice in public and they can't be silenced.

Some people get very upset and precious about comments made but the majority of people couldn't really give a f * c k because there are more important things in life. Each to their own and even on here i still like to read what others think even if i sit back, laugh and wonder where did it all go wrong in the world. lol

I can understand why Redknapp's remarks don't annoy people but if you had gone to every single Spurs game this year, spent thousands of pounds and he said this surely it would annoy you?
