Disgraceful. He gets pushed in the throat, nutted (lightly i might add) and doesn't react in the way we suspect he could and he faces a ban. I thought Joe's behaviour was exemplary and a fine example to younger generations of keeping your cool!!!!

looks like my thoughts at the time that Jordan may have spouted a few incendiary weasel-words.... just like he did against a Liverpool player in 2009..... HAVE been studied by Uefa and the CORRECT steps taken...

youi cannot go around allowing 'coaching-staff' from opposing teams goading and using vile insulting language at another team's player..... therein lays the slippery slope...

do you think I dont 'get' what's not to like bashing Uefa yet again, as soon as it penalises a Spurs employee ??...... it would be the easiest thing in the world just to go with the common opinion, whether right or wrong..... I could also bask in the illusion that Jordan did 'nothing wrong' and was hard done by etc etc...

its getting to be a common desease here.... Uefa/Referee Bashing..... yesterday I watched both EL matches with Pool and Citeh.... where the players thought they could bully the refs and behave like hatchet-men on the pitch (in Citeh's case) and forever blaming bad-refs for wrong decisions when most of their own players cheat for fouls, freekicks, penalties every game they play (Livpool and Citeh).....

if English clubs and fans think they are so much better than the rest of the world now, due to the Prems intl. success (mainly down to thieving plutocrats invading our game, and excessive Sky-fees for live-games allowimg huge club-revenues) then maybe we should just play our own brand of over-aggressive, vile-chanting, hatred-spewing, ref-abusing brand of football and not bother with those 'inferior people' making up the rest of the Football world ??

Jordan would welcome that I'm sure.... as would quite a few here..

actually Arry didnt need to do anything.... Jordan knew exactly what he was doing in trying to goad a fiery player already wound-up sent off by using a few choice words to provoke a very predictable response..... he had no intention to hit back byt only to get Gattuso sent off..

Jordan has done this sorta thing before, as I mentioned, in a Liverpool-Spurs game (just 1 that I noticed this 1st).... luckily thhe Pool player just gave him a dirty-look and didnt retaliate..

it is indeed..... and it seems to be worsening every season now - the ref-bashing, violent conduct, vile abuse and how the whole thing appears to be condoned now...... the tv-Media and their hacks seem to revel in the whole culture of ref-bashing expecially with their multiple-angled VT-footage and slow-motion replays....

I think the game's going the way of NHL hockey in the States now, where its more about the spectacle of violence and pseudo-warfare than it is about the sport technique and beauty..... the Media love it as every controversy stirs more fan-emotion leading to more intense experiences and eventually, addiction to the violence and aggression alone..
