 Gareth what are you on about.

Players get given abuse from all angles every game, from the crowd, players on the field and coaches

they get paid thousands a £££ a week not to react.

i can guarantee you worse things are said on the pitch every game but players do not react to it.

Gattuso can say what he wants to try and take the lime light off him.

he had it in for crouch for the whole of the second half

Gattuso must have taken a combo of Mr Angry and stupidity pills on the night!

How he remained on the pitch the entire 90 mins is beyond me, regardless what is said it does not justify the manner in which he reacted to Jordan.  As Biggs points out their wage is paid for them to remain professional at all times.

If he had a prob with Jordan a quiet word along the lines of "lets meet up after just me and you and settle this, nice and quiet with none else around yeah" would have been more suitable, instead of playing up for cameras and fans when the situation will not be allowed to get totally out of control.  All hot air and piss, Gattuso was bang out of order, each time he lashed out he lacked any conviction behind his actions nothing more than a paper hardman looking to be doing the biz a fluffy Peacock puffing out his chest, totally brought shame upon himself sad little twat.

THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

regardless of what Jordan said to Guttuso, i can guarantee you that worse has been said to him before on and off the pitch.

teams use it as tactics, to try and get players to react and get send off. its a know fact in football.

players say all sorts to each other on the pitch, about their mums, families etc etc... just to try and get the player to react or try and put him off his game

But it was so obvious that Gattuso went out there for the second half looking for a fight or try and get the crown pumped up because he was pushing and shoving people before Jordan said anything to him

think your all missing the point here.... and its this..

irrespective of how the rabid crowd behaves (the best reason to have a running-track or similar space around a pitch) professional coaches and assistants should be above that sort of behaviour and not have to give verbals to opposition players.... they can have a go at their own players for whatever reason eg. laziness etc and they can PROPERLY lodge a protest with assistant-refs )of which theres at least 1 by the coaching-areas)...

to tolerate/condone/purposely look the other way when it suits, the type of squalid foul-mouth ranting at pitchside by elderly professionals to other teams players is not the right thing ..... its just plain wrong..

I really hope that video-evidence is used by the |Yefa panel when enquiring about this Gattuso charge, and see if there was uncalled-for insulting, inciting provocation on Jordan's part.... lip-readers can even be used to study video footage...

Jordan may just be regretting his actions now.... especially if the lip-readers detect any racist commentary from him that he's so strongly denied...

intrigying..

clutching on to straws there ain't ya ?

next thing you will be saying, they should make him take lie detector tests.

the biggest point you are missing, if Gattuso never came out for the 2nd half the way he did none of this would have happened

I agree with you Biggsy.... Gattuso is a headcase..

but I dont think the coaching-staff should engage directly in verbals with players from the opposition.... let the players tell him as its peer-to-peer its not a problem...

Gattuso was way over the top tho... the referee bottled it at the start, and he got worse cos he felt he could get away with it.... he was also playing to the home crowd, so that even without a win, he'd get a standing ovation from them and consolidate his hardman image with all of Europe watching..

You really haven't played football have you Gareth, you understand nothing about the art of sledging. Being abused and abusing you fellow competitors is now part of the game along with the stepping on toes, pinching and all the other underhanded shenanigans that go on under the refs nose.

It's a mans game and if you can't take the odd mouthful of abuse or give it then don't watch.... it's that simple.

Gattuso took it too far ....... end of !!!

Alvin Martin on talkcrap today saying Jordan was hard as, simply because he could take it, dish it out and never went moaning to the ref or let on he was hurt in a challenge.

If i remember correctly Alvin wasn't exactly the prisoner taking type himself. Was funny listening to his battles with Joe at club and country level.

Reno has always been a scummy type player all the way back to his days of playing for Rangers. He was a gobby little s**t then and nothing seems to have changed.

What do we think the punishment will be, three games or more?

'its a man's game' ??..... you really are a sad old dinosaur aren't you Ugsypoohs...

Sledging is part of the game but should be between the players, coaches etc should not be verbally abusing other team's players. But there are are limits to that too.... eg. racial abuse or even homophobic abuse should not be tolerated..

if Jordan racially abused him then that needs to be looked at..... I think it will too.
