But we're assuming that what he told his agent to tell the press after this already happened is what actually took place. I suppose if we're assuming that what his agent told the press about what Jordan said is actually the truth, we could look at other examples of players lashing out at people other than players.
A good example would be Cantona's incident. Look how seriously that was punished. Gareth, I suppose your point would be valid in this example because, whatever his name is, who Cantona attacked was banned for a period of time, fined and I think even went to jail. Cantona was suspended for months by United. Milan aren't going to suspend Gattuso at all.
It's Gattuso's word against Jordan's. Jordan has denied saying what he's accused of saying. I don't see any reason to assume that Gattuso is the one telling the truth. As I said before, it reminds me of a spoiled brat who has been caught doing something wrong.
