Spurs Manager 2012 - 2022
« on: January 09, 2011, 12:07:51 PM »
a charismatic ex-player who has vast intl experience and playing-styles gleaned from the top leagues of Europe.... a global-icon that will be used to promote Spurs throughout the burgeoning markets of Asia and the Middle-East..... someone Media-savvy and will command the attention of the global-Press and TV...

someone who has roots embedded in North London..... someone who may even have trained with Spurs as a schoolboy..... someone who may end his glittering, all-conquering playing career with Spurs...

someone who may even buy a significant share of the club..

any ideas, my pert lovelies ??

I don't care about it being an ex-player. In my opinion that rarely works out well. Much prefer good solid experience - especially if we'll still be challenging for CL.

youre right of course.... hope Barcelona don't fall into the trap of making Pep Guardiola head-coach, after he hangs up his playing-boots.... oops..

Well it would be pretty difficult to make a mess of that job, wouldn't it!? The failures will far outnumber the success stories. Hoddle, Shearer, Paul Mariner at Plymouth...

I'm not entirely sure why you would even care. You said yourself that you're only temporarily supporting Spurs.

Hopefully our manager will still be 'Arry, just annoys me that you even want to discuss it yet GK alot can happen in 18 months in football and hopefully things will change to ensure 'Arry stays at Spurs.

Trouble is the only thing that can stop the F.A offering Harry the England job is Spurs having a couple of bad seasons and Harry falling down the list. All the time we are having success and playing great football he will be in the frame. He has gone on record as saying he wouldn't turn down the job, so we may have to resign ourselves to losing him. Unless of course we can build a team that is sooooo successful he cant bare to leave us and takes us to the final of The Champions League. Lets hope it's that.

Or if he has any more problems with his taxes!

You trying to wind us up again indictaing Beckham right???, well if so no way Beckham has the pedigree or expereince to manage us, not even worthy to pick our under 12's team!

Also right now and for the time being Arry is our manager and doing a great job, I'll only start thinking about a replacement when and if it looks like he is going to leave and the only job which he will go for is the England hotseat! which I am certain if offered he will take unless we achieve success quickly far beyond our expectation!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!
