I played the last 10 or so years in Cornwall where some of the pitches are shall we say a bit exposed, and a wee bit breezy especially the ones overlooking the coastline. I never wore gloves or anything else apart from the usual kit and as far as I can remember no one else in my side did either, and I can honestly say we used to freeze !!!!!!!!!!!
