Poor game from Lennon today

I thought Lennon looked quite lively, esp in the first half.

We really should have won to be honest - but if you don't take your chances.....

I agree, I thought Lennon had a good game but we really missed Van der Vaart. The amount of times the ball ball dropped in the box and you know he would of been there or ther abouts.

Lennon is looking more and more like he did before his injury. He put some really good balls into the box against Birmingham and you can tell he is growing in confidence. We shouldn't forget that before Bale stepped up we were using Lennon as that lethal outlet down the flank and it was very effective. If we can get them both playing at their best we will be deadly in attack.

The more i watch us play, the clearer it comes that we need to top quality striker.

Nothing wrong with Crouch and Defoe, but we need somebody with abit of physical presence, to ruff up the defenders abit.

right now its to easy to play against our strikers

Good piss up in Birmingham yesterday, found some half decent pubs before the game about 15-20 minutes from the ground which is situated in a bit of a run down area of Brum. Not too bad a ground but the Blues fans were pathetic! Not a noise out of them the whole game until they scored and chirped up, our support yesterday was terrific as usual and we took near enough 4,000 up there. I thought Bassong did a good job yesterday apart from getting the goal he made some great tackles and played the ball out of the defence well and he and Benny always seem to have such a laid back style of play its a joy to watch. First half Lennon was doing the business but in the second he seemed to stop running at the defenders and it kind of broke the play down abit. Modric was MOTM for me everything went through him and he makes the team tick, he is in the best form since joining i reckon, absolute class little player. Defoe should have scored on a couple of occasions and Crouch & Pav didnt do anything really. Also are we ever going to keep another clean sheet? YID ARMY

Nice report Somerset

I agree with what Biggs said. We need a top class striker if we are to really push for honours!
