This is just theorectical but.......

If we could prise Berbatov back from united would you have him back ?

Personally I would have him in a heartbeat, he fits our system of play and we all know he is pure class. I think he would score and set up goals for fun in a side with Van der Vaart, Modric, Bale, Lennon and Huddlestone !!!!

I wouldn't because he actually refused to play for us and just sulked.

I'm not going to lie, i f**king loved Berba when he was here, bordering on when of my favourite players when he was here.

When he left, the way he acted really disappointed me... he could have done it in a better way. Because lets be honest all of us knew in the back of our minds Berba would leave that summer.

Would i take him back?

Reluctantly, yes. He was just to good for us to say No. Like you said Ugs, for our system he would fit in perfectly.

In a heartbeat. The guys a genius: I think arry would bring out the best in him. He needs to play regularly as he sulks when on the bench.

This is a tough one if we look at what he would bring to the team and his ability which united cant get out of him as we did then its a clear cut yes, but there is more to it than that!

Has everyone forgoten how he disrespected the club, us fans and gave big MJ a huge headache causing so much disruption in the dressing room, the Berba saga had a large part in MJ's dismissal at THFC.

A genius he his, bags of ability and skill he has and would fit into our method of play.

Loyalties he doesnt not have (neither do most of todays overpaid pre-madonnas), respect for adoring fans means sweet FA and they way he openly sulks on the pitch and on the bench when things dont go his way is another big issue. He wasnt even prepared to leave honourably and really belittled everything about THFC.

So for me all that out weighs his playing ability, there are other players that would fit our style of play.

Berbatoss should never have the opportunity to pull our team colours on again, unless he buys a top from a sporst shop.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

the best striker to get back would actually be Bent.... he has the lone-striker credentials needed to make the most of vdV behind him in the hole...

but he doesnt do keepy-uppies, which obviously means he's crap to most Spurs supporters.... and fans like you too

I guess we'd have to keep Keane then as well as these two really worked good together.

I think it would depend on the price. He would not come cheap and he is on a lot more at Utd than we could pay him. Ultimately I think that if we could get a talented  player who is younger, cheaper and less likely to spit his dummy out that would probably be the better option.

I loved Berbatov when he played for us. Berbatov and Keane were lethal together. I doubt either of them will reproduce that kind of form again. Even if we played them together I doubt we'd get them playing that well again. I'd still take him back though! Just not for anywhere near what United paid for him.

Ole Father Time has caught up with both.... especially Keano (the younger of 2)...

thankfully, Levy will never have Berbatov back even on a Bosman.... and Keano is never gonna be a regular again for Spurs..

the need for them has been superceded..

Like your thinking Derry.

It's a big no for me, his form has been mainly shocking since leaving with the odd bit of class and goals.
