Paul Mersons joint Ars*nal v Tottenham first 11

Just read an article by Paul Merson on his joint Ars*nal and Tottenham first 11.

Hes gone for Gomes, Sagna, King, Vermealan, Bale, Modric Fabregas, Walcott, Nasri, VDV and RVPersie

Quite unbiased I think but Walcott????

What changes would you make?

 I would have:

                   Gomes
Kaboul, King, Vermealan, Ekotto
           Fabregas   Modric
    Nasri          VDV           Bale
                  Van Persie

Bit harsh to leave out Vermealan over Dawson, and Clichy and Ekotto is a toss up, all our right backs arent great but I think
Kaboul is better in that position than Sagna and Hutton.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

No goons in my first 11 lol

Out of interest what about an all time combined Ars*anal/Spurs combined 11 now that would take some picking......... In goal Bobby Mimms lol

Well, when you try to take an unbiased look on Merson's selection then you cannot say that any of his chosen players is a bad player. No way. Kaboul is not an out and out right back, so therefore I would not have him as the right back in this line-up. And considering present form I can see why Merson chose Walcott instead of Lennon.

Listen we have a gooner starting in at center back on Saturday he was there captain 2 years ago lool

I would take Fabregas and Nasri tomorrow, its not like a Tony Adams or a Ledley King, these foreigners dont have there loyalties
towards any english club

Do you think Team Manchester would do team North London though

                           Hart
Boateng     Vidic         Ferdinand       Evra

Nani          Scholes       Barry            Silva

                Rooney        Tevez

With this side Manchester would have no chance:

                        Jenas
A. Cole    Jenas        Jenas    Jenas
Jenas      Fabregas  Jenas    Bale
               Drogba     Jenas
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

No we have an ex gooner who wasnt deemed good enough for the goons anymore, shows the state of our defensive situation regarding our options.

I mean they nicked Sol (Judas) Campbell in his prime we have an out of shape, past his best looking for a final decent payday that noone else wanted in Gallas.  But IF and thats a big IF he comes good and shows his worth to our team and cause I'll be the first to admit my slating was wrong! And for teh record I would love Galla to make me eat my words means he is working for us

If Barry makes this XI I think both Manchester teams need to spend in January!!

I can't understand it Merson being an ex player and pundit on Sky has picked Modric and left out Jenas, when we all know that Modric is only in the Spurs team to keep his value up !!!!!
