Well apparently Harry doesn't manage at all (tongue planted firmly in cheek). He just lets the players run amok and create. He's a players manager. Have fun boys, go fulfill your potential and make the fans happy. So it must be that what we are seeing from both JJ & Luka is pretty representative of the kind of players that they really are. Doesn't sound like the Gaffer is standing in either player's way. They are who we thought they were!
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

like I've said many a time, most fans are simply not schooled enough in football to be able to appreciate what Jenas brings to a side....

With any luck the England job will be up for grabs soon. Why dont you apply for it ? Your superior football knowledge would be a huge benefit to the whole nation and we would carry you through the streets shoulder high when you and JJ bring home, 1st the Euro Championship and then ultimately The World Cup. In fact it would be almost an act of treason to deny us long suffering England fans the benefit of your vast knowledge and insight. Your Country needs you Gareth. Now is the time to emerge from the shadows and lead us into the promised land. Step up to the plate and fulfill your destiny.

Ok, serious question... Jermaine Jenas versus Gareth Barry.

Who would you rather have in our midfield?

For me, I'd rather have Jenas. Same goes for England as well. How did Barry and Lescott end up starting yesterday? Capello says he's picking in-form players, but he still gives us baffling decisions like that.

I'm less of a Barry fan every time I see him play. Perhaps I'm missing his tactical prowess?  :-\

Which children are you referring to fella?............................... or are you trying your hand at a level of humour  ???.

I dont think you would do too bad as England manager Taime makes a very good point I think he has put into words what many of us thought...... any chance the bigwigs at the FA may read this.  Also GK you dont need to be English or British to manage or national squad but an umbrella does help and I am certain you have one of those or even a variety.

Just imagine Jenas could be your captain marvel

taime said:.... your country needs you..... treason... etc etc...

and yes I probably could manage the England team well, but that would involve having the balls to drop players like Terry, Lampard and Gerrard..... and I'm far too much of a shrinking violet to do that, as you all know...

Its very simple when everyone is fit Jenas dosen't get a game because 'Arry dosen't pick him, 'Arry being a 'top' English manager knows better than anyone on this board including you Gareth. 'Arry also sees Jenas in training everyday and makes judgements about his squad on a daily basis, if Jenas was good enough he would be a regular, 'Arry on numerous (that means many) interviews has stated that Modric is world class and would grace any team in the world and seeing that he obviously knows more than us I guess that makes him right !!!!

So stop with the bulls**t conspiracy theories that 'Arry only talks Modric up to keep his transfer value high, because you really don't realise how much of a d**k that makes you sound!!!!!

Modric Vs Jenas........ Modric every time !!!!!

Ugly... you are so naive its really quite endearing...

Arry, with direction from above, needs to keep Modric's 20m+ value up as much as possible, what with Levy already taking a bath on Bentley's transfer... bought for 17m lucky to get 5m now....

its possible to give the illusion of Modric still being invaluable to Spurs, as long as you play him in certain games when everyones fit, and as much as possible during injuries eg.THudd's....

during the most critical moment of the season so far, at the time of greatest stress, when we were 2-0 down vs Inter and with 10 men..... remind me again which player Arry subbed and which stayed on...

if Modric-THudd is the REAL 1ST choice.... why take Modric off to keep Jenas on the pitch ??... :-*

My God, Gareth, you're a Jenas conspiracy theorist. As if that was the only game Modric and Huddlestone played ahead of Jenas. We had a player sent off. It made sense to take Modric off. That doesn't mean Levy is planning to sell him so that the mighty Jenas can play every game.
