Thats is good news, although VDV playig in behind Crouch seem to be working at the moment.

At least we won't have to play Pav with Crouch if we want 2 up top anymore. Defoe and Crouch play well together!
COYS!

Defoe and vdV should alternate as the 2nd striker in the team... Defoe even gets Pav to play well (and that takes some doing)..

Cant wait till Jermaine is back! Him and VDV to terrorise any defence in the league, also after his dreams of playing Champions League football hasnt happened so far it would be great to see him feature against FC Twente.

I think he might struggle to get back in the side at the moment, only because VDV and Crouch seem to have struck up quite an understanding. Plus VDV is a dead cert to start every game so I'm guessing it will VDV plus one other from Defoe, Crouch, Pav and Keane.

It'll be great though to have all our striking options available again, I just hope that the defence is available soon too !!!

After that england game where Rooney and defoe played well together...

couldn't VDV play the rooney role?

I think VDV could probably play any attacking role you want him too LOL !!!

Just depends what 'Arry decides he wants to do Little/Little or Little/Large but it's a nice option to have !!!

Biggs your spot on, thats exactly what will happen. 2MP has worked a good understanding with VDV but JD is far better suited to his/their play. Things will be great once we have a Striker who the rest of the Team know can be relied to score the goals. Don't get me wrong we need goals from all over the Park, esp Midfield but theres a reason why Strikers are needed in the Team ! Personally it would be nice to see Obika drafted back into the fold or maybe lil Harry Kane on the bench for a cheeky 15 mins ???? COYS

Good to see him come back, hopefully he will be hingry and keen to prove he is our number one, when he is not challenged thats when his performances dip as he becomes easily complacent!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Defoe and vdV upfront for Spurs will be just like Defoe and Keano were..... only worse.

2 little boys upfront together simply does not work in the Prem....

fact.
