Thank God Joe Cole decided to join the train wreck that is Liverpool rather than come and play in the Champions League with us. If that hadn't happened we would not have got VDV and we'd have been stuck with the spectacle of Cole running round like a headless chicken every week as he seems to be doing with the scousers.

Cole is still a good player (in the right team) Liverpool are in a big mess at the moment hence why Cole hasn't been playing well, he hasn't got good players around, just mediocre ones - creating a mediocre team!

True but he chose to go there when he could have come to Spurs. There must have be some promises made to him and Torres which haven't been kept as they had a very poor team last season and it hasn't improved any, if anything it's got worse with the loss of Mascherano.

I know the promise they made to him.....£90k a week. I loved all his rubbish when he signed saying how it was the fans/Kop that made him decide to go there. Apparently the 90K was nothing to do with it.
 
Hopefully they cant afford to pay his wage soon, now that would be funny.
