I agree with samuiloafer JJ's inconsistency is the only consistent thing about him - Wouldn't be sorry to see him go!!!

I feel exactly the same about Jenas

don't worry, you wont be feeling sorry either way..... Jenas will be staying now that he's fully-fit again..

Jenas fully fit  =  Spurs regular

so shall it be always... 8)

Purely as no one will pay £8 million for a player who cant play well for more than one game.

oh I think that now he's fully fit aghain, he will play well in quite a few games.... just as he did when he last had sustained match-fitness when Arry 1st joined and Jenas formed the CM partnership with Palacios.... you remember that period dont you pleb ??.... or have you erased that from memory to protect your silly little prejudices against our best allround CM...

as for this season, I think he played very well in his 1st full game at Bremen, and also played well against Villa.... thats 2 games in his last 3..... and he was at least as good as THudd or Moderate against Wet Spam too..

2 very good games in last 3..... doesnt sound to bad to me

should start against Fulham methinks.... will both THudd AND Moderate I wonder ??

I don't think that Gareth Keown is Jermaine Jenas as I believe Jenas to be a much nicer person.

The fact that the majority of people on here disagree with you speaks for itself Gareth... The proof you ask for is the use of our eyes, yes we watch the games some actually go to the WHL and watch there. When we watch we see a negative inconsistent individual that has bags of potential but chooses to use it  once in every 5 or 6 games, that's just the way it is.
We all have our favourites and defend them to the hilt but your defence of Jenas and so called stats and proof and ludicrous to say the least, this is the second forum that I know of that you had this discussion/argument and the last time you was the minority too.... I think that says quite a lot about the subject.

Resorting to insulting the rest of the board when you have run out of arguments or can't refute an argument is a very sad thing to do, just accept the fact that you hold an opinion that no one else agrees with.......... and shut the F*** up !!!!!!!!

most Spurs fans probably think that Dawson desereves a regular place in the team as he's a very good centre-half...

case rested  :2funny:

sad truth is, you plebs really dont like Jenas cos he is so talented he can afford to breeze thru games.... you lot like either water-carriers like Dawson or tricksters (who do little else) like Moderate.... you see what youre able to absorb intellectually....

you yet dont realise that football is really a game of chess or blackjack with legs.... move, counter-move... constant re-evaluation of the risk/reward ratio, positioning to control the most space while still able to link into play with others, stamina-management for 93mins, tactical variance needed for different phases in matches.... etc... etc... etc..

it really is beyond most of you.... so dont sweat it plebs.... relax and enjoy the things you CAN appreciate.. 8)

If that's the case why do most footballers have the IQ of an empty fag packet ?

All I have to say about Jenas is PLEASE don't let him take any more free kicks that are shots at goal. I can't stand it. Does anyone remember him ever scoring from a free kick for us? Surely it must have happened at some point or we wouldn't keep letting him sky them over the goal. I certainly don't remember ever seeing him do it though.

you mean Jenas keeps missing as opposed to the numerous other Spurs players that score directly from freekicks.... name me 1 Spurs player thats scored directly from a freekick in the last 2 seasons...

as for him never scoring from 1, I seem to remember a corker against some team at Old Trafford a few seasons back.... no doubt nobody else will tho (doesnt quite go with the propaganda on Jenas does it)....
