oh perleese.... stop spouting your over-simplistic gibberish... 'Arry and Co. hardened up Bale' ??.... all that happened is that he aged from 18yrs to 21yrs, which (and this may come as a surprise to you) naturally meant that he grew stronger and became a man..... I think most 18yr olds tend to do that..

Arry and Co have done a great job at Spurs.... but developing Bale is not 1 of them....otherwise they'd have had the sense to play him at the start of the season last year, and not halfway thru only when BAE got injured...

looks like Rooney will mostly likewly go to Citeh, as wifey wants to stay close to 12yr old disabled sister..... and the 250k a week probably has a little to do with it too... that means that Bale-Benzema swap is deffo back on...

Have you ever considered posting something sensible with some substance to it?

Maybe then the rest of the forum wouldn't ridicule you so much !!!

5-0 drubbing of Real Mourinho just moved Bale capture in January into the odds-on category.....

 Bonjour et bienvenue  Karim.....

and Stewie Downing at 14m should be adequate down the leftside...

no doubt the majority of Spurs fans also said 'no thanks' to Gallas, a week before he joined...... not quite so vocal now tho...

1 step back, 2 steps forward   >  no steps at all

I think B-B swap's gonna happen..... if we dont go for Stewie too, its our loss

All right, Benzema could be something but I would certainly not swap him for Bale. As for Downing... well... no comment.

we should get 10m on top of Benzema for Bale..... THAT is what makes it worthwhile..

Keano + Bentley  =  Downing

Downing has pace, left-footed, has great crossing ability from either wing, IMO the best English LM in the Prem..... far better value than 25m+ A.Young

If we entertain the thought of shipping Bale out it will show the club is not building for teh future and lacking true ambition.

A team gets built around talents such as Bale, VDV, Defoe, Lennon, Thudd and Dawson, these players hold the key to our ongoing development to challenge consistantly the top 4.

Id rather see a ford capri on our left wing the Downing!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Not the least bit provocative to even suggest it. Who on here would even think of it? Surely any logical Spurs supporter would think we're building a team of better players and not selling the best ones we have to bring in replacements of lesser quality. Who would ever suggest that?

a team like Spurs NEEDS to sell a star-player at an inflated price now and again.... as long as we improve the OVERALL quality of the team/squad then its the right thing...

1 step backwards (sell Bale) , .... then 2 steps forward (get Benzema + Downing)...

simples..

(at least Taimedowne (sensible chap) agreed with the concept, earlier in this thread)...
