Keane happy to earn his Spurs

I was really pleased with Keane's performance last night. Even though we lost 2-1, his work rate in the game was 110%, and you could tell he really wanted it. Perfect role model / idol for young people, and a great team leader.

I still think the best is yet to come from Keano. He hasn't been at his best recently but still scoring goals.

This is the best news ever, I always admired the way Keano respected his former clubs and spoke fondly of them, but at the same time wished he gave a sign he felt something for Spurs who have been the ones to give him consistency that he needed when he joined.

Great to finally hear it, i'd love it if he stayed his whole career and got a testimonial, its such a rare thing these days.

Oh and im sure you're right about the back being the reason for the celebration going. I thought it was a temporary thing at first, it seems not now.

i reckon he will scorein the uefa cup final and do the celebrations.

I've missed seeing his special celebration. At his younger days he used to do it everytime he scored, and he used to be remembered by it. But he hasn't done it at all recently.

^^ He doesn't do the cartwheel anymore because he doesn't want to injure his bad back. I remember him saying he's been having problems with it recently and doesn't wonna risk injurying it again.

very good to see, I expect will Keanes influence in the team over the last two seasons that will be enough for defoe this summer. Expect Mido and him to hit the exit door in June
