Sporting agree loan deal with Spurs for Pavlyuchenko.
 
Sporting look set to make another move in the transfer market after reportedly striking a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko.

According to A Bola, weeks of almost daily contact between the clubs have finally reached a conclusion, with the parties agreed on a one-year loan deal for the 28-year-old. Sporting will pay half of Pavlyuchenko’s wages during his prospective season in Lisbon.

Although Pavlyuchenko is yet to agree to the move himself, Sporting director Costinha is believed to be confident of tying up the transfer when the two teams meet on Sunday in New York, where the Lions expect to be able to speak to the player in person.

The former Spartak Moscow man has scored 24 goals in 60 appearances during his time at White Hart Lane, since signing for the club in September 2008. However, last season saw Pavlyuchenko handed just 17 outings by coach Harry Redknapp, who has regularly been reported as keen to offload the striker.

Althoughi don't believe it, i really hope we don't send Pav away on loan, this season could be his to shine!!

Don't listen to everything you read, the only confirmed transfer target has been Joe Cole, all most all of the rest of the stories are bulls**t. If it were true that we were to ship out Pav to Sporting to get Gudjohnsen I will shoot myself, that is the dumbest move I've ever heard, what and Keep Robbie Keane as well, if Gudjohnsen was Defoe's partner, we would have the worst strike force in the prem, and I am not disrepecting Defoe who is great, I would also go as far as saying single handedly Gud would ensure we don't finish anywhere near the top four, he is one of the worst strikers in the prem, we may aswell get Heskey..... Rumour is we are in for Bellamy thats who Pav's replacement would be, also we have been linked with Sporting's Yannick Djtalo, maybe it is a swap loan deal, still don't agree with it either way.
The only way it would make sense if we were getting Huntelaar or Suarez, if that was the case, we would have to move Pav off permanently

Isnt true at all, Pav released a statement he never knew about this move at all and i really doubt he will go on loan since Keano is going out also to them Aston Villa i presume.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if Keane goes to Fulham if Big MJ takes over there.
