Do we really need Bellamy?
« on: July 15, 2010, 08:33:43 AM »
Loads of talk about a bellamy deal being really close. Honestly do we really need him?

We have about 4 players that play in similar position to bellamy... Lennon, Dos Santos, Kranjcar & Keane

and even if we do sign joe cole then that will be 5.

So harry might be buying bellamy as a striker but i rate Crouch, Keane, defoe & Pav over bellamy any day.

I think the same about Joe Cole also because we have, Modric, Lennon, Kranjcar, Dos Santos, Keane... who all play in similar postilion to Cole, but i can understand the Cole signing more because he is a big name.

Harry don't sign bellamy... use the for another player

Bellamy wouldn't really improve our squad. So, my answer is no.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

dont really see the point of signing him
he will not improve on what we all ready have
and always seems to cause trouble were ever he goes

Cant judge him yet, he did very very well for the Mancs, but i dont know maybe he is the contingency plan just in case Joe Cole move to either Manure or Arse-anal~

I would see this as a typical Spurs signing i.e just sign him because he is available and a good player.

He looked excellent for City in a lot of games last season but I don't see how he really improves the squad as very similar to other players as some have already mentioned.

Spend the cash on more pressing areas of the pitch please.

:nope: The mans trouble and is skill is far out weighed by the negatives he brings, he upsets team mates, he winds refs up.he seems to have that perminant scowl, i just think he is not a good squad player.

I have to disagree with some of the negative points being made about Bellamy. First and foremost he is a heart on his sleeve player - always gives 110% and expects his teammates to follow suit. He may upset his teammates some of the time but it is usually the half hearted lazy bas**rds who play for the money and not the team that end up on the end of his golf clubs! Like Eidur Gudjohnson can play in 2 or 3 different positions and has champions league experience. He is very vocal on the pitch but I see this as a good thing. For too long we have had good players who don't comunicate enough, who lack that bit of grit that you need to beat the best. I think that Bellamy, if signed, might just bring that fire out in a couple of our other players which in term would galvanise the whole team.
Bellamy may not be the star signing that everyone at the Lane craves BUT for £5-6 million imo he would definately improve the attacking options available, especially as it seems that Keane, Dos Santos and possibly Bentley are on the way out of the Lane. C.O.Y.S

The nutter with the putter!

We probably don't need him to answer your question. But if we were to sign him i really trust Harry will be able to control Bellamy's temper

you just have 2 look at how long he is at a club to see that he is bad news, no team seem to go out of there way to keep him!
