I have been hearing rumours of this lately as Ath. Madrid want Bentley.

I rate Babel also and think he was great at Ajax but has only shown rare a glimpse of his skill at Liverpool, if we did get him i think we would revive his career as he is only young but Birmingham are very interested in him. As for Maxi Rodriguez, i would have Lennon over him any day.

I don't see much point in swapping Bentley for this fellow. Or even worse, buying him and giving them Bentley on loan. To be honest, I really think that Bentley should at least be on the bench... Unlike Pavlyuchenko he has at least kept his mouth shot.

I agree, he can link up well with Crouch and if Modders fails to do well on the right he could get a good run of games while Lennon is out.
