First Choice CBs

With Ledley and Woody returning to fitness 'Arry now has the tough choice of choosing two CBs to start each game. The question is "Who are our first choice CBs?"

Before the sesaon started you could easily say it would be Woody and King, however in the past couple of months Daws has really come into his own, and he is probably in the form of his life atm. So when Woody and Ledley are both fit will he be droppped? Personnaly I think that as long Daws carries on playing the way that he is, he IS our first choice CB. He has been at the club for years and has always seemed to play second fiddle as previous managers have not deemed him good enough. This season however, he has stepped up to the plate and it kinda makes you proud to see someone like Daws (who has not complained or looked for a move away from the club just because he wasn't playing week in week out, unlike some players *coughs Pav coughs*) finally come into his own as a player.

So for me Daws is the first choice CB, with Ledley coming in second and Woody and Seb battling it out for 3rd choice.

What do you guys think?

yeah your right, its really tough to choose. imo out of all of them if fit king is in the team first. out of the rest of them its a toss up between dawson and woodgate... i think im edging a little towards woodgate because he has saved us many points in the past.

thinking about it now i cant choose lol

I agree that Dawson deserves a starting role. Basically I think that our main pairing in centre-back might be Dawson and Woodgate because I seriously doubt that King's knee will allow him to play week in week out. Woodgate has had his fair share of niggling injuries this season but I still believe him to be less injury-prone than King.

True, but what about Seb. I supposse its gona come down to whose the most in form. Besides we know Ledley cant play more than one game a week, and I hate to say it but I think that his career may be coming to an end sooner than we think. The reason being that its no longer just his knees that are troubling him. Due to his lack of training and match practice he is starting to pick up other injuries. Its very saddening for someone who has given soo much to the club.
