This came out of no where.

Giorgio Chiellini's agent has denied that his client is set for a move to England, despite being at the Manchester derby on Tuesday.

Chiellini has revealed that he was invited by both clubs to attend, whilst also admitting he is currently locked in talks with Tottenham.

Despite the conversations, agent Davide Lippi says a move is not imminent for the Juventus defender.

"I was there but it was absolutely a courtesy visit," Lippi told Sky Italia.

"I was invited by the two clubs and I was pleased to see a good match. The market is open all year, talking with everyone and everything, not just Chiellini.

"A real interest? It is normal when we talk about a very important player like Chiellini, but there is no news.

"There are many players that may interest Manchester City or the United, today I was talking to the leaders of Tottenham."

He is an awesome player and if we can get him then I will be so so so happy  ;D

As I said, it's out of the blue. The player himself has said that he is in talks with us, plus Harry has said that he would buy a CB due to the fact that Woody and King are too injury plagued, the incedent with Bassong last night will only have furthered his desire to find a good CB. Chiellni is the very player we need to help propel us into the top 4. If we get him I believe this will be the start of a new glorious era.

I read today that he is talks with Citeh as well, i can see him favouring Mancinni unless we make a really good offer for him.

Well his agent says that the visit to the City-United game was only to watch the match and that he is in talks with us only.
