I just wanna say i am more than happy that tottenham is still tottenham. Yeah i want them to do fantastic next season my god it would be hell if we were one of those teams that actually went into administration. We should be happy that spurs is still around. Paul (my boyfriend) keeps saying we could be the next team well he does have a point. I think we will do ok in the cup games but not awesome, maybe finnish 4th or 3rd and to be quite honest might find it a bit of a struggle to get through the champions league qualifying stages, but might just might scrape through them.
Is Paul a gooner! We are one of the best run teams not just in England but in the world every year we make a profit and the organisation behind us is second to none. I doubt we will be doing a Portsmouth anytime soon so I'd rest easy on that one.

No he supports Sheffield Wednesday, also he keeps saying Harry will put us in too much debt.
In the first year he spent £70 million, there is a case coming up on him for the FA to the value of £9 million.
In this day and age £70 mill is chickenfeed and the way this transfer window is going we aren't going to spend half of that. The case you refer to is Harry vs the taxman it dates back to his time at Pompey and has nothing whatsoever to do with Spurs. Harry may well get a hefty fine but that will be paid out of his own pocket.

Plus we are ultimately owned by a Spurs Supporting Billionaire !!!!!

1.The Billionaire doesn't put any of his own cash into the club. It's a business, as simple as that.

2.We do make Profit but sometimes using very clever accounting, I won't bore you with the details but they figures are not always what they seem. I think we have total debt (borrowed from our holding company, again too long to explain) of about £50mill. This figure alone is peanuts to a club with our turnover but debt is debt and someone will come calling looking for the cash one day.

3.The new stadium will really change the dynamics of our finances, short term pain= long term gain. The key to success in this is trying to do what 'that shower that never win anything' are trying to do and get as much paid back as early as possible otherwise debt repayments kill you.

4.Anyone that says Harry will ruin us is speaking tabloid and other fans forum b*llocks simply because we won't let him spend spend spend like others. Our salary/turnover ratio is fantastic and we be trying to keep it that way.

Can't believe i am making posts and numbering points, turning into such a geek!!

So in essence we are a very well run and financially sound club who have a Billionaire supporter that set up a buisness to buy us in the first place, LOL !!!!

Where the hell did all this talk of going into administration come from, for crying out loud we are one of the most finacially stable clubs in the world, when the new fifa finacial rules come into play, the likes of Utd and Chelscum will be f*cked. Theres a reason why we have a very tight pay structure, i'm sure it will increase though over the next few years, with continuous CL football. If we are going to be realistic then I think 1 marquee signing this Summer would be great (Ozil or Suarez we be lovely) along with some apparentley "bottom half club targets" that can help us have a good run in the CL, and improve on last seasons posistion. I really do see us challenging for the title this season, L'arse will struggle to finish in the top 4 this season, I see them battling with City and co for 4th while we battle Utd and Chelsea for the title. Hopefully along the way we can pick up an F.A or Carling cup. Hopefully if we keep improving then we shall see the Premier League trophy being lifted at White Hart Lane by our beloved Spurs before we switch Stadiums. Harry knows what he's doing, and his transfers have helped us so far. I'm sure before he came back we all thought of Kaboul as a signing for the lower teams in the League, but I seem to remember him having a hand a certain City-hope-extinguising-Tottenham-dream-giving goal???? He wouldn't be in the business this long if he didn't have a clue. So don't fret lads we're well on the way to success, don't foget next season we go into 2011, and I think we have a good track record when the year ends in 1  ;)

So there we are, thats being realistic.

Hey, don't all of those SPAMMER posts on Yahoo include the phrase, "Paul (my boyfriend) thinks..." ? - lol

Dom, good points about BAE. He is a very emotional player and tends to be erratic in his decision-making. Remember that strange flare up between him and Charlie last season?
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

about the BAE/Charlie 'flare-up'.... its amazing that if it concerns a player you like: its 'well it shows the fguy cares, gets stuck in, is passionate about the team' etc....

but if its a player you dont like. its 'well he's abit of a head-case, very erratic, bad judgement, loose-cannon' etc etc...

you pays yer money and takes yer pick..

attacking a fan didnt seem to do Cantona too much harm.... also, some fans deserve a good kicking with the filth they come out with to players.. if I came up to you in the street and called your mum a whore and said you have sex with your sister, I think you too might not take too kindly to it..

Anthony Gardner too should have taken a leaf from Cantona's book a few years ago..

He is passionate I will give him that, I would go as far as saying hot headed, sometimes it is necessary to let your own players know when they should have done better, as long as its not a common habbit, although not sure what the case was between those two.
