Suprise suprise the goal we conceded today came from another of gardners trademark clumsy mistakes.

We have got to sell him before next season while clubs like West Ham are still willing to pay reasonable moeny for him.

Ive never rated him and he simply is no way good enough for us, not even as a squad player. Everytime he plays he gives me a heart attack, always has his arms wrapped round ppl, for his extremely tall height he is useless at defending crosses, he always looks like a rabbit caught in headlights when the opposing team is attacking, hes always out of position. I seriously dont no how he has managed to be at a top club like us for so long.

He is the type of player that can cost us games on a regular basis which weve got to cut out if we are to break into the top 4.

Definately need another good CB to fill in for dawson or king if needed.

He was playing left back, but on the whole you are right - he isnt great, but we should keep him as a backup 3rd or 4th choice CB, he's probably happy with that lol

i think we should keep him but we defiantly need a replacement and a decent left back

He's just not good enough, simple as. Ok for a back up but he's not consistent enough and seems pretty injury prone.

Yeah we should keep gardner as back up and if we did buy a Left back that would have to be Bridge/Baines. But I would choose Bridge but doub't chelski will sell him to us. Baines would be a good signing a deal something like £5-6 mil should do it.

I think Gardener is a cert to leave we already have Rocha for cover and possibly more decent defenders to come. Gardener I'm sorry to say is just not good enough if we are to progress to the next level.

Despite his height he never wins headers? I think if we get some new players in, especially cover for CB then he should go, preferably to the Hammers.

With regard to Gardner you only have to hear the groans made by most of the fan's when the team is announced on the moniters in the ground before the match
For every good game this guy has he has 3 poor ones yes he was out of position but even when he plays in the middle he is vunerable he certainly won't improve for a big guy he is lightweight
