Ok, now we have Berba's acknowledgement we wants to stay and help for the club. But is that what "The Board" wants ?!?!

Why the heck are we launching bids for Bent AND for Gudjonsen if the board intends to keep Berba !?!? Seems to me they are already preparing replacements for **** sake !!

Hopefully all this is ******** and the ****ing board will not do the stupidity to sell him with the thought that they may get enough money (30 mln quids)from his sale to buy 3 or 4 quality players !!!

Don't be stupid, there's no confirmation that we've offered anyone anything for any player. It's all mostly rumours, it happens every single year.

Seriously mate, relax. Mido i expect to leave in the summer, we were always goin 2 bring in a decent striker to cover if Berba gets injured or in need of a rest.

To move forward we need decent players to let our players rest, ie lennon and berbatov

I agree with that these rumours happen nearly every time. We could be linked with any player whether it's from the premiership or abroad.

Well, to be honest i sincerly hope we land the ice man! Always thought he was a good player, works really hard, i'd have him over bent anyday! He's really versatile and can play AM CM as well as foward roles. I think he would be an amazing addition, certainly a better player to have on the bench then mido. I think berb would know that gudjohsen wouldn't be a replacement, or bent! i mean cmon! The board expects mido to go and are probably warey about defoe as well, i think gudjohsen would be the best bet as he can fit in almost anyway so defoe's place wouldn't be threatened. Bent would be a direct threat for defoe fighting over which of them would try out place keane to play with berbatov.

Although would be nice to see an english pairing with good skill up front, but taking berb out for that would be pure insanity!

Imnot too sure that we would sign gudjohnsen but if we were to sign bent it would b a great signing and would strengthen the squad but would defo not replace berbatov. The club will revolve around berbatov, if we want to break into the top 4 and win trophied next season the squad will need to be stregthened and bent would help.

The board will not get rid of Berba, there will be rumours and we should expect them to be looking for other top class players if we're looking to improve.

Have a think about how many of the rummours actually happen! very few it's all headline stuff, having said all that I think we may say goodbye to a couple of the squad and I can't see a raft of players coming in but who knows!!!!!
