Here we can discuss all the goings on in your FM games.

At the moment I am Stevenage. I am in my third year as the boss at Broadhall way.

In my first year we came 3rd, although lost out in the playoffs to the winners Grays Athletic in the semis.

The next year I built up a squad full of loan signings and free transfers just to get the job done.

The board was in such a bad financial state that I had no money to spend. Luckily with superb managerial skills we managed to walk away with the league, even after being in 9th place at christmas.

The fans were ecstatic, we had made it to the football league.

Now this is when I had to do some real work in the transfer market. I was again given no money so I had to sell my two best players, George Boys and Miller, giving me 100,000 to spend.

I made lots of signings, youngsters from prem/champ clubs on frees and I thought I had a squad capable of winning the league. Even though I was written off at the start. My biggest coup was the signing of Bill Sharp. He had a major fall out at Scunny and I signed him for 10k. Amazing deals.
My parent club Bristol City sent me the usual loanees and one of them is class. Name is Gary Hooper, and after this season he is wanted by Wolves. I am in mid march and he has scored 33 goals so far.

I have been promoted to league one and am two wins away from winning the title with 8 games to go.

In January I was offered DJ Campbell for free and I was obliged to sign him. I also signed Paul Ifill and Greg Halford.

My team:

------------------J.Murphy(Scunny)-----------------------

Halford(Col U)-G.Caines(Signed on a free)-L. Oliver(ever present)-Nutter(EP)

P.Ifill(Sheff U)-Cochrane(Rotherham)-S.Green(C.Palace)-T.Lyskov(Free)

-----DJ Campbell/Hooper(Brum/Bristol City---B.Sharp(Scunny)

That is my team in the 2008/9 season. We are going up.

Any suggestions on players, hopefully I get some money

I also have i file with kettering.  I got them to the conference national but i'm in danger of being relegated in my second conference season.

Is the FM game any good. Have bought a few and none seem as good as Championship manager 02/03 season. One game I win easily and next game get thrashed. No consistency? How do u see it. recommend it?

I do recommend it, it's a great game, but now that the season is over, you'd probably be better off waiting for fm08

Players To Buy:

O. Ustari, Best Keeper in the game
Marcelo Best AM, even tho he's a wing back (i play him there and he plays amazing)
S. Foti, £3mil with finishing 18 heading 19 jumping 19 and is only 21 or something
Carrajero, best DM in game is 15 @ start of game bt when he gets 2 21 is a amazing
Nani, him and lennon make your wingers unstoppable
Adriano (AM) i think it is, a real money maker...
Can't remember any of the top of my head, coz havn't played on it 4 ages...

Advice: Send scouts to brazil and argentina. Then search strikers with stats of finishing 20/19 and loads come up!
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!
