Dimitar Berbatov says he wants to remain at White Hart Lane, Saying he wants to help Spurs break into the top four next season.
This season Berbatov has impressed everyone with his remarkable 22 goal in his first season in the premiership, taking interest from all the big clubs like Chelsea and Manchester united who where prepared to offer big money for his services.
Martin Jol has come out and said he admires Berbatov and will do his up most to keep the striker at the club.
Instead of considering a move to one of the top four in The Premiership, Berbatov says he wants to help Spurs break into the Champions league quartet.
"It is difficult in England because you have got Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Ars*nal - some big names in football with great players, but nothing is impossible in football,"
"I hope next season we can challenge this `Big Four', like you say in England.
"Maybe we will be in the first four clubs."
The 26-year-old says the style of football Jol has his team playing has been the best in the country and that is part of the reason for his success.
"The most entertaining team this season is Spurs," he added.
"We have scored so many goals, we tried to play good, and we tried to entertain the fans. “
"For me that's one of the most important things - to entertain, to enjoy when you play, because it's a game."
This is great news for Tottenham fans, as you can tell with his short time at the club he has fast become a fan favourite. If Tottenham are to break into the top four next season they need to keep hold of there best players and this statement by Berbatov will give Tottenham a lot of hope.
