Bridge is quality. He can defend and cross, some thing our lb lack!

Any one see his cross the other week? (Can't remember who it was against) Pure quality.

He's good no denying that, but I think we should go for a younger English prospect.

Like who? We need an expirienced LB, Baines? Overated IMO. Then who else is a young English prospect?

Dont get me wrong Lee is a good full back going forward, but i really think he should play on the right if he does play, Lee always cuts onto his right so defenders know whats he;s going to do. BAE does look promising but sometimes looks a bit suspect. I think if we can get Bridge around the 4 mill mark it will be good for the team. Chim and Bridge and full backs and Dawnson and King in the centre would be solid.

Note to Big MJ PRACTICE set pieces, for some reason we look weak and corners and free kicks.

Bridge is under rated but didnt he reject us for a loan move to Fulham before. He may have DUFF itus (respects Chelsea so wont move to rivals). + Chelseas wont want to sell him their defence needs reinforcing over the summer.

yeh ive seen him to, he's lightweight and i coulnt see what all the fuss was about, id rather bridge, po has been good going forward for us but his defending is a bit crap

I`d take him like a shot. When him and Cole were contesting the England spot I rated Bridge better, personally. Lee has improved considerably this season but I don`t know if he`s the player to take us up a level.
