£6m Reo-Coker raid?

MARTIN JOL is preparing a £6million bid to bring Nigel Reo-Coker to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

According to the News of the World, Ars*nal originally had a verbal agreement in place with West Ham United that the midfielder would join for £10million.

The rise of Denilson has ended Ars*nals interest in the 22-year-old England Under-21 skipper and Martin Jol sees Reo-Coker as the new midfield enforcer at White Hart Lane.

An insider at White Hart Lane told the News of the World: His name has been mentioned frequently. There will be a lot of change and it'll be a surprise if he doesn't come in."

I would have him, not for 6 mill but he is a good battling CM. Some Hammers season ticketers from other forums tell me he is playing well as of last season.

What is the whole point of buying Wet spam players. We only bought one good player from them that was Michael Carrick. He was our best signing from them, The others I agree are all rejects.

The guys awful and would be a real step in the wrong direction.

Imo we have enough midfielders as it is and only bringing in a real world star would be needed to strengthen us
