Fergie to move for spurs front line?

Rumours were circulating regarding Defoe going to Man Utd in the January transfer window. Those rumours/stories faded, now they seem to be the vogue again. Do people think that there is any substance in these stories, or once again is it just paper waffle? By the sounds of it, Fergie will also be bidding for keano soon to acquire along with berbie spurs entire front line.

Yeah, if we have replacements then let JD leave for that much. Do not sell Keano or more importantly Berbs.

Surely what Fergie needs is a big target man to replace Saha. A slightly overweight Egyptian target man for example. If he has to plunder our front line then how about Mido for a few mil?

I really hope this isnt true.

We have the best strength in depth we have had up front for some time. Defoe wont get to play every game at Man Utd but £10 isnt great money merely ok money for him IMO.

Given that we have been linked to Nani & Nicola Zigic to date its hardly an improvement if we were to sell.

I would like to nick Tevez and/or Ashton (even injured for a bit) when teh Spammers go down.

IMO he is welcome to Defoe... can't see him wanting him though - not United quality - his movement is not good enough.
