Some people are never happy it seems... A goalkeeper had to make saves. Unbelievable! I agree, it would have been much better had he stayed at home.  :P

     Riff,
         You obviously didn't watch the game, Lloris made 3 WORLD CLASS Saves, one of which was very early in the game, when the score was 0-0, had he not have made that save who knows what would have happened, you are quite right he is a goalkeeper, and YES he is paid to make SAVES, what I was doing was highlighting the fact that whilst the win was well deserved, that once again Lloris's contribution probably saved us very early, and also when we WENT TO SLEEP early in the 2nd half after going 2-0 up, there are some Teams that will crucify us if we make the same mistake against them, you only have to look at previous seasons.

      Quote " Having said that, I thought that it was a very good all round performance".

    I also thought that I made it quite clear that I WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. :nods: :nods: :nods:

   Just because someone points out some shortcomings, doesn't mean that they are UNHAPPY with the result, there is nothing wrong with constructive criticism. :nope: :nope:

A great result and we are scoring goals. A much deserved victory. The only sad thing about last night was that Fulham couldn't pull of a victory.

Or even a draw! Still, good evening all round  :up:

I hope the next time we are on the field it will be even better; and I am talking league, not Europa (however, I do want victory there as well) :up:

And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Morale booster Europa win couldn't do any harm at all.

We must enjoy every win as every win is a bonus and a step forward. Yes, we can fall asleep on occasions, but so do others above us.  we are now +4 and that in one game!

I hope he gives Soldado a chance; that will help him if he scores.
