It is true that he never mentioned AVB or even Mr Levy in the main section of his post, however, on the signature section of his posts it says, and I quote: “AVB OUT, AND TAKE LEVY WITH YOU” so technically he does mention AVB. So you are wrong there (if one was being pedantic).
He spent money on the squad; whether it improved it is another matter. Over the years he has spent a lot of money on the club and will do so within the means the club has got. But it won’t be until we have a bigger and better stadium – that will generate more cash – that we can compete with the likes of Chelsea, City, United and Ars*nal.

Thank god your not a banker (a BANKER I said). Can't you see that building a new stadium will restrict our spending and NOT increase it. Look at Ars*nal, they have had next to nothing to spend on players because of the massive debt they accumulated on building the Emirates. Ours will be worse, because our revenue will be significantly less then theirs, due to the fact they can demand greater sponsorship and higher ticket prices. So as far as new players go, as soon as those bricks are being laid, you can forget any quality signings for many years to come. It could also be said that our lack of activity in the transfer market over the last 4 years has also something to do with any new stadium. That isn't necessarily to say we shouldn't build a new stadium, however any success on the pitch after it's construction will probably be in the very distant future.
But never mind VOICE, at least our supporters will have the bragging rights of large stadium.
With regards to my previous post regarding CL qualification. That was a generic comment based on ANY club in our position. As I said before, if the club in question isn't prepared to spend a large % of it's CL money on strengthening the squad in order it can move forward, there is little point in qualifying for it in the first place. Part of Spurs history is NOT qualifying for the CL, its about winning trophies, and giving it's fans great days out at Wembley etc. It appears to me that we blew our chances at two domestic trophies this year, because they weren't a priority. This attitude is far from unique, as our North London neighbors have exactly the same business plan, and where has that got them over the last 8 years ?
