Precisely. We are quite poor up front atm and unless Defoe finds his magic wand,  it will stay that way imo. Dempsey will never perform miracles and even when Ade come back from the ACF, I would be surprised if he remembers where the goal is.

So, all in all potential hard times ahead, unless Levy opens his wallet, which now looks less and less likely or our front men magically become stars, I can't see many changes, but I live in hope!

Voice,
        Stop repeating yourself, your incessant defence of Levy is becoming boring as are your personal attacks on myself, and no I don't have and never have had my head up Harry's backside, had you have read my posts from beginning to end you would have realised that in fact I am defending AVB not having a go at him. Perhaps it is you that should remove his head from Mr Levy's backside, never once have you had anything negative to say about him, all you ever do is defend and praise him.

 :ohyeah: :ohyeah: :ohyeah: :ohyeah:

I don’t defend Mr Levy but look at the evidence and I have often told you this, so who is repeating themselves?

As for “attacking” I disagree. That is your interpretation; I just pick out your flaws when being critical (as you do against me; and I don’t criticise you for that, just about the language you use to respond to me). However, it would be nice if you stopped using certain language when replying to me.

You are correct that I have said nothing – yet – negative about Mr Levy or AVB; but as I’ve only not long joined this forum then that might explain why. I have often criticised previous managers and Mr Levy where necessary. I haven’t criticised AVB because he is new in his post. I am giving him the benefit of doubt.
As for Harry; when he was given the job I had my doubts but I was prepared to give him a chance and right up to the end I supported him. Nevertheless I also agreed that it was right to have removed him; for the reasons I have given in previous posts.

I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Lads, please keep it clean. This thread is about our financial loss, not about your personal feelings about each other, Mr Levy, Mr Villas-Boas and certainly not about our ex-manager Mr Redknapp who is now employed by another London club Queens Park Rangers F.C.. Thank you.

Good shout. These personal slagging matches have become a bore.

Back to our finances. Part of the problem is that we have accumulated several overpriced, overpaid squad players who as has already been mentioned, would probably fetch about £ 250 K.

For example Gomes Bentley Jenas Huddlestone. Get them off the books, speed up the arrival of Holtby, and ffs get a striker.

I agree and I am quite happy to offer my hand in friendship and in future we moderate our critical response; if Mr Finch agrees. At least for the sake of this good forum.
