Concerns For Next Season...

One of my main concerns is that we lose Berbi (a lot of speculation in the media, I know a lot of this is probably crap!). I reckon that if we fail to qualify for Europe this campaign or fail to do well in any of the cup comps next year then he will be off. Could any one blame him for going?

My other concern is our lack of consistency. We have played some great football at times this season, but the flip side is that we have put in some shocking displays. How can this be so? If we truly have aspirations to break into the monopoly what is the top four, what needs to be done/ put in place to achieve this?

I think we need to get this one over and done with before we start concentrating on problems for next year

i agree finish this season b4 thinkin about next but we do need a left sided player not a right sided player playing on the left

I'm really looking forward to next season. Firstly I'm very hopeful we will still have Berba and I'm also very hopeful that we will be in Europe again. With the experience of this season under our belts I believe we have every chance of doing well in that competition. Athough we may not have won anything this season we have put in impressive cup performances which I think we can only improve on next season. With a bit more consitancy and belief that we have potential to go all the way we'll have a great season.

Look Mate, next year is gona be the trophy year...

We've had 2 deal with a lot of injuries this year but have managed to cope...

Also you can't say where inconcistent when we got 2 the quarters of every cup... Don't worry Berbatovs agent has said he isnt leaving this yr, well next yr we need 2 win a trophy! And this campaign we'll easily qualify for europe... Bolton (5 new injuries) + Everton (Johnson - out 4 season?) have some really tough fixtures, Reading are our main threat fro 5th spot, as they have easiesh fixtures like us...

Agree that Reading are our biggest threat for UEFA places,couldv'e done with Bolton beating them but it is in our hands and will have only ourselves to blame should we not make it.On the Berbatov situation,if he does leave (obviously I hope he doesn't)we would have to get on with it and make the best of the money,but let's not even go there as it would be a HUGE loss.Next seasons aim for me would be to go all out for top 4 and a cup,(not so much league cup,think we should play fringe players in earlier rounds).As we can't keep saying next season is our season every year,sooner or later we are going to have to deliver otherwise players WILL leave.But first and foremost,get in UEFA and go from there.
