Pre Season Friendly
The Mansion, London

SNFC' manager made a large number of changes for this second Pre Season fixture against League One outfit Chesterfield. SNFC made a good start to the game, no nervous tension this time, and with 6 minutes they pulled a goal ahead. Youngster THFC looked the pick of the lot in the opening moments and deservedly got his name on the score sheet. It came from a speculative effort from Justin, only for the keeper to parry the shot into THFC's path for his to slot home.

The Chesterfield midfield were having a run around as again THFC was running the show. His dangerous runs forward caught their defence off guard as he drove in a Lyubokick cross-shot on the 24th minute mark.

The game would prove to be a walk in the park for the SNFC defence, not one meaningful attept on goal was made by the Chesterfirld team. DC76 was happy to just spread the ball around from the back, and even when Chesterfield looked to attack the SNFC defence would block them out with ease.

Second half SNFC carried on their dominance, and only had to wait 10 minutes for the 3rd goal to arrive. THFC was involved again. He flicked on a pass and set Justin in on goal to round the keeper and score.

Quote from: Manager Daniels comments after the game
"I was very impressed with my players today, you would never have thought we were two divisions below them. If we play like this every week I'll be a very happy man."

SNFC keeper Storts has vented his frustration into starting on the bench by going out clubbing until 4am. It is unsure whether any action has been taken by the club

Who Are These Guys?
Guardian.co.uk

Honestly, would anyone expect a club that just formed out of a rag-tag group of Tottenham Hotspur fans to defeat two clubs from higher leagues in such dominating fashion? Well, Spurs Network FC have defied the laws of football physics by outscoring their first two opponents 5-nil!

First, Spurs Network FC defeats Shrewsbury, from Division Two, 2-0, and only allows them four attempts at goal, all of which they missed. And now today, they completely shut down Chesterfield, from Division One, without allowing them anything! 3-0 was the final score.

Outspoken team captain DC76 points the finger for the defensive domination in this match squarely at left back C.L.S and right back Will.

"Shrewsbury came at us from the air, and they got nowhere because of Dimitar B. and me," he said. "Well, today, Chesterfield tried flanking us and got DEE-NIED because of Will and C.L.S locking those flanks down tighter than a prison! They were both beasts. ME LIKEY!!"

But defence only prevents the other team from scoring. SNFC got two goals and an assist from central midfielder THFC, which DC was quick to praise as well, as also was manager Daniel.

"The guy was unbelievable," the SNFC manager said. "DC was calling him a 'quintessential rebound hound,' and that must be Canadian-speak for a guy who crashes the net when the keeper can't clear the ball. Awesome coming forward, creating chances and finishing them with equal proficiency... he was fantastic."

After the match against Chesterfield Sky Sports News caught up with Georginho, the Irish/Brazilian centre-half. When asked about the clubs recent success he replied,

Quote
We have a team of great players and we are storming through matches. Our manager Daniel has installed a great team spirit and is a tactical genius. DC76 and myself kept Chesterfield back and I believe DC76 is a key player in our squad. Long may our success continue!

Sky Sports also asked about the recent rumour of him joining Notts Forest for £190,000.

Quote
I do not wish to leave this club as I believe we have a great team here and we are going forward. I'm flattered that a great club like Notts Forest are interested in me but I do not wish to move.
