Redknapp has confirmed that van der Vaart will not be playing again this year as he injured his hamstring. King and Kaboul are also doubts for the upcoming match against Norwich.

No, DeFoe, Lennon, King, Kaboul, VDV. This is all very frightening and quite possibly the start of our demise.

DOOM GLOOM MISERY EVERYTHING IS RUBBISH WHAT IS THE POINT LETS GIVE UP NOW THERE IS NO POINT EVEN TRYING CRAP POOR NOTHING EVER GOES RIGHT WHY BOTHER?

Why are you always so keen to be negative about spurs. Your pessimism may come out of watching spurs for years and in the past we have achieved what we had the potential to achieve. But FACT this is the best spurs team in years and although we may still fall at the last hurdle, we may crash out of every cup and miss out on Europe again. But so what? I love watching spurs at the moment, they are playing the way we have always wanted them to, attacking, exciting and quality football. So even if we don't succeed, we had a bloody good go, doing it the way us fans want them to. So please make your new year's resolution to either be positive about spurs, or at least, not to bring us other fans down off the cloud we are so enjoying at the moment?
Maybe next year...

It is a little strange that the better we are doing fewer posts seem to be made on here.  I can only put it down to Spurs fans being a pessimistic lot by nature. We want success, we crave it, most of us cant even remember any real success, but we only seem to be happy when we have something to moan about. I imagine it's down to years of conditioning to expect failure. Spurs have a history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. A few key players injured and our hopes will turn to dust yet again. But this may just be the season we turn it on and we see the Spurs we have all felt was there but somehow failed to emerge when it mattered most.

I have noticed the lack of posts of late.

Injuries are concernig yes, and we are right to be worried, but we do really have quality in depth in partically all positions this year.

It gives other quality players playing time and the chance to rock"n" roll on the field and stake a claim but more importantly feel like they are part of the club and have a future with us as we need a strong deep squad to meet our ambitions!

I have faith in our lads we will continue to perform and get results!

One player doesnt make a team but they can make a big f**kin difference!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Some reports say that van der Vaart's injury is not as bad as was first predicted and he could play against Norwich on Tuesday.

You so called optimists make laugh. It doesn't matter what you or I think, it won't make any difference to the results. Could you really imaging how boring any site would be if everyone was upbeat about everything. I think it would actually make me sick !!

For what it's worth, I believe we have the strongest first eleven we have had for many many years. The problem lies in the depth, and the unlikely possibility of Levy spending any money in January. For this reason I am sticking with my initial prediction of 5th.
