THE RETURN OF THE USUAL SUSPECTS
It has been at least a week since the name of Curtis Davies appeared on these pages but the West Brom defender is back again after, once again, being linked in The Sun with a move to Tottenham.

The twist in this particular tedious tale is that it would be part of a £15m double raid that would include West Ham skipper Nigel Reo-Coker. Because he's played really, really well this season.

Martin Jol's cited interest in Davies does make slightly more sense given that doubts persist about Ledley King's long-term fitness.
