In my case, when I was taking rest after graduate study in the U.S., I felt like watching football games on TV. It was like let's see what enropean football is like.

I chose TH without difficulties. It may have been due to YPLee since he is a Korean player. But, that's not all. There is also a Korean player in Man. U.

I liked team color of Tottenham. I liked the history of the team. And, I don't know why, but I feel like... this team will have wonderful days in nearfuture.

It was like what martin jol said about TH. I sort of understand him.

I feel my feeling about TH's wonderful days in near future will come true really. Ah, yes. With King's return next season, we will have wonderful days from next season in England and also in Europe.

It's great to know that Tottenham Hotspur have that positive influence to people outside of England. :)

my love to spurs is quite "fresh", as living and born in dortmund (germany) i always supported borussia dortmund.
last year i met a passionate english spurs-fan and he took me to the match against leverkusen. that's how everything started!
some weeks ago (vs watford) i saw my first match at the lane. i was completely mesmerized by the stunning atmosphere. and THAT is not easy to happen to a bvb-fan used to the amazing atmosphere in our homezone.
of course my no.1 team is still dortmund but spurs have a place directly next to it. :em2200:

i think once you got this kind of feeling you can't go on living without spurs anymore.
if i had balls, they would be bigger than yours ;)

Simple really, nothing to do with my dad (never was there a man less interested in sport, he only knew we were on last night because it disrupted Coronation St).

My reason is following the 1981 cup run. I can recall insisting on watching the final whilst being babysat at my nans (she probably didnt mind as it kept me occupied for 90 mins).

I cant say I recall the game greatly, but the white stood out and the style of the play, and that was it for me.

I remember one newspaper headline that early on in my support which stuck 'Scoring goals for Hoddle and Waddle is a doddle'. Part of why Hoddle is my favourite ever player.

Ahh..i remember it as if it were yesterday..

I was a little nipper, and i remember watching Chelsea on the telly, propper face to face with the telly. I remember saying to my Dad ''Wow...how good is David Wise'' I thought Wisey was called David not Dennis lol.
Any how, my Dad shrugged his shoulders, and i then asked him for a chelsea top with Wise on the back. To his belief, he had just heard his angelic youngest child ask for a Chelsea top. He said, i'll buy you a football top, but not a Chelsea one. I asked why, and he explained why.
Who are these Spurs i asked my self. I'd only heard of them when my Dad, Brother and Uncles talked about them.
He took me for a kit in the local sports shop, as soon as  I saw the Chelsea strip, ran over to it, and i got absoloutley blasted for doing so lol. My Dad, to my utter dissapointment, kitted me out in a Spurs Kit, with 'Klinsmann' on the back, and a Spurs tracksuit :D

Never to this day have i looked back when my father brought me to the promised land.

I dunno. I guess Spurs chose me!  They were a particularly good team around 80/81 and that's when I became a fan.  No regrets - there's been good times and bad times & stuff in between but I will support Spurs till I die.

Glenny Hoddle For me. Watched him play for england and was in owe. Caption came up saying he played for tottenham then I was hooked. That was 1986. Little did I know that a certain Mr Sugar would inflict misery on me for the whole of the 90's.
