Rocha: What Do You Think Of Him

Personally, I do not think Rocha is good enough to start regularly for Spurs, yes he needs 2 settle but he gets beaten in the air 2 often and i always see dawson getting in the thick of it and not him. Therefore I do get very nervous when hes playing in the centre of defence, thank goodness ledleys back! Also all this stuff about, we need to get a new CB is because every1 knows rocha isnt good enough...

i think hes a solid back up to daws and king,and definately better than gardener.but do agree that he makes mistakes a bit too often,perhaps he does need to settle so i wouldnt want to get rid of him yet.

saying that we should sell gardener and get a quality young defender,curtis davies has been strongly linked and looks the obvious signing but his price tag is ridiculously high for someone so young.

Should def keep him, I think he's a very good squad player. He still needs time to settle though, but didn't he play as a full back for Benfica?

I've noticed he makes some impressive tackles... But if tis true he played @ wing back/left back 4 benfica then he should start there...

Don't understand this buy, is he any better than davenport!!?? he is a lot older...another transfer window panic signing, would rather let lee, dervite or mills from the youth step up as cover!!

Some times he looks a bit bewildered by whats going on around him and I'm not convinced his general fitness level is all it could be.It will be interesting to see if he improves next year after an English preseason fitness programme

Sell him and bring through Dervitte once he's fit. Rocha is not good that header against L'Arse says it all for me

He is okay but not world class. Makes a few errors faffing on the ball. Good for backup so I'd keep him but Daws & Ledley are clearly no1 choice.

He needs to settle down properly, he's from Portugal and the football played there is very different from English game. He has made some errors but we could say that there is no player in our beloved Spurs this season who has been 100% perfect. Next season we will see if he's any good. Looks pretty promising, definitely not world class, I'd put him in the same mould as Tainio, Malbranque and Y.P. Lee.

hes ok but thats it dawson and king are much better and gardner also a bit better but he is ok as a backup he keeps things simple always does the easy ball

He's OK, not amazingly good. He's no Dawson and certainly no King, and we could maybe do with one more CD to go in the third spot in the depth chart.

He'good enough. Been solid on the whole and only really made one mistake. Debatably 2.

Mustve been hard for him to come into this team and into a defence which has been in turmoil recently
