Gomes is a clown at times, but every keeper has tendancies to be a bit erratic, that aside he is a top top keeper when it comes to stop stopping.
He has also made many a "world class save" in his time at Spurs keeping us in games. His concentration has improved as has his ability to command his box from coners and crosses which was propbably his major problem when he first joined - so credit to him to get over those jitters.

Gomes fully deserves to be our number one as he is better than Carlo if you ask me. Cudicini is an adequate back-up though.

Spot On Totally agree

Gomes is top drawer as keepers go, when he first came to us he had a shocker of a start but through hard work with his GK coach and commitment he went on to make a hell of an impact often the key to us keeping points last season.

Gomes makes saves that are world class and the areas of his game that UGS has already pointed out that needed to improve have and IMO could still improve further.  The defence infront of him is currently weak and that is why we are leaking goals.

All good teams have a great GK as that is the position that is the building blocks of a good team, we have that in Gomes he is a different class to Cudicini!!!

Cudicini is ok as cover, not the kepper he was when Cech took his no 1 spot, at that time IMO he was by far the best keeper in the EPL then got replaced by Cech.

I wouldnt be confident if Cudicini was our first choice.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

IMO Gomes is one of the best GK in the world. Definitely in the Top 10. If he had a consistant back 4 in front of him he would be even better.

He is abit clueless at times, but that seems to be more of his personality rather than his skill as a GK.

On his day i think he's one of the best GK we have had in recent years and would be happy to see him in our goal for years to come.

I like Carlo too, but the thing for me is... i don't think Carlo could pull off some of the saves Gomes does. Where as i think Gomes can do what Carlo does and more

Id say Gomes is better but in terms of Exp in the league Cudicini got more and i think that is his only advantage on Gomes.

Given the chance i think he can be better than Gomes. But overall both of our keepers are good its just the our back 4 cant defend as well as last season.
