Apparently we are interested in him.

I think he would be a good signing for us...there is no doubting the boy can play...he was outstanding there at Man City before it all went pear shaped...Houllier has said he will be allowed to leave for around £7/8 million...i know he's not playing to well at the minute but i think that Harry could get him back to the level he was at before......Im going to do a Martin Keown here......

Jenas + Cash = Ireland.

Anybody?

Im not really a fan of him, but as you said Harry brings out the best in players and hopefully he could return to the form that he had at Citeh a couple seasons ago because he obviously does not want to be at Villa and looks completely disinterested. I think we can go for alot better than him, if we are to push on for top 4 again we need some star players with CL experience.

Na would rather keep Jenas than swap him for Ireland.  Not the type of player we need or that would improve us!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I don't think he much better than what we have already, and wouldn't be considered for a first 11 spot imo.

No, I'd definitely keep Jenas over Ireland who has miserably failed at Villa. Maybe he has spent his time thinking about buying a new bling car for his little chavette.

Stupid suggestion, where would he fit in we have VDV and Modric

If he cant make it at villa he cant make it here, I think he has to play in a 3 man midfield or behing the lone striker in 451......and he has to go to a club that dont have players like that already there because he flops under pressure, although with a solid run of games he would excel.

I suggest Sunderland Steve Bruce would get the best out of him with cattermole and henderson alongside him sitting deeper, I hope stephen is listening

very good summation...... shows there are SOME on here alongside me with an appreciation of tactical requirements of any players coming in...

we dont need to swap 1 redundant Irishman for another..

clearly he didnt..... as your quotation shows..

rather, the words in the quotation are erroneous.... nobody is guaranteed to excel after a prolonged run in the team, possibly least of all Ireland from Ireland...
