Tottenham Hotspur insist fans are not being 'ripped off' after the club announced a rise in season ticket prices.While several Premiership clubs have announced price freezes for next term, Spurs will increase their season ticket prices between 3.2 and 5.6 per cent.But Spurs executive director Paul Barber has moved to head off any criticism of the decision by outlining the reasons for the hike."We are not ripping our fans off," Barber told the Evening Standard."If we want to build for the future - which involves investing in the team, building a new training ground and academy, either improving or moving from White Hart Lane - we have to make sure our finances are in place to achieve this because we could be talking about a lot of money."The average price increase works out at
