SNFC's away trip to Oxford would prove to be a very frustrating encounter for the away team.

Though they had a huge number of chances only one would find the net, and that only came from a lucky ricochet.

SNFC have been a huge hit this season, many say they will not get beaten in the league. But Oxford brought them back down to earth with a 1-1 draw to break SNFC's 100% record.

The first goal came early, Lyubokick passed to Rob. He then elegantly controlled the ball, turned, then had a shot. The keeper parried the ball on to the post for it to come back and rebound of his back into the net.

SNFC tried all they could to extend their lead but Oxford would be next to score.

The second half would be a major frustration for the away team, chance after chance went begging and chances they would regret making.

My coaches keep saying not to put you into the first team so quick as it might have a bad impact on your development in the future. :dunno:

Solid Goalkeeping From Oxford Forces Draw
confguide.com

Spurs Network FC had their winning streak snapped as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Oxford thanks in large part to a hot goalkeeper. But despite the low-scoring result, captain DC76 was quick to point out numerous positives from the game:

"Sure, this was our worst game thus far," the Canadian said. "But we still played pretty well. Rob kept up his goal-scoring streak. dazzaTH looked unbeatable. lyubokick was a passing machine. Berba's Right Peg was his usual self coming forward. And it took a real howler to beat Storts. So if you consider that we're a brand new team, that's still a very good effort. That said, we're set to make their lives a living hell at the Mansion in the return match, so it'll take an effort of Biblical proportions to even come close to drawing there!"
