August update 1/9

With games today, clubs have played 5/4 games.
As I type this Ajax are winning 1-0 at Groningen


Leading the way so far is FC Zwolle, played 4 won 4


PSV sit in 2nd with 3 wins & 2 draws


FC Twente lie in 3rd, 2 wins, 2 draws & 1 loss


Ajax(playing at the time of this) are 6th, 2 wins,1 draw,1 loss


Feyenoord are at the wrong end of the table with 1 win & 3 loss's


Winners of the Eertste Divisle, BVO Camburr Leeuwarden. Have started with 1 win,2 draws & 2 loss's


Playoff winners, Go Ahead Eagles(Great team name ) Have started well(5th) 2 wins,2 draws & 1 loss.


Key Fixtures for September -

14th - Ajax v FC Zwolle, FC Twente v PSV
22nd - PSV v Ajax

Mini Update -


FC Twente are top with 19 points a Goal diff of +19


Ajax & AZ Alkmaar are also on 19 points


PSV 4th are on 18 points but so are Zwolle,Vitesse and Groningen(7th)


Only 4 points from 1st to 11th! A very tight division with 11/10 games gone.


RKC Waalwijk sit bottom with 6 points.

A update I hear you say - well here you go 


4 points between the top 3 - Ajax(44),Vitesse(42),Twente(40) which they do have a game in and to play.


Only 5 points between 10th-18th  , So a lot can still happen. The 3 teams in the red are ADO(20),NEC(20),Roda


So I guess its pretty tight league for all to play for at this time of the season.

Ajax(66) lead the way, with Feyenoord(6) in 2nd. Just behind them are Twente(59), whist Vitesse(54) are 4th.


Roda(26) Sit bottom,just above them are N.E.C(28),and 3rd from bottom are Waalwijk(30)

Eredivisle finishes on 3rd of May.

Last Day of the Eredivsle tomorrow - all Kick off are 17.45.


A few things have been settled already -


Champions - Ajax(Champions league place)
2nd place - Feyenoord - They will enter the 3rd round of qualifying for the Champions league
3rd place - Twente - Europa League(3rd round of qualifying)


18th - Roda will drop to the Eerste Divisle


So a few places up for grabs tomorrow, which I will give my eye on

So the Final day has finished, and he's what was settled today


PSV Finshed 4th(59) - so they enter the Europa league(3rd round Qualifying stage)


Teams finshing -
5th SC Heerenveen
6th Vitesse
7th FC Groningen
8th AZ Alkmaar


Go in to a playoff for a place in the Europa League(2nd round Qualifying stage) in 2 leg's


At the other end NEC & RKC will have to play in a playoff to stay in the division, with teams in the Eerste Divisie.
I'll try and keep my eye on this as I don't give the dutch pages 


Willem II make a return to the Eredivisie, after winning the Championship.

I have found the fixtures for both playoffs -

NEC Nijmegen have been knocked out of the playoff, so they will drop down a division.
Its now down to 4 teams in to 2 legs on the 15th & 18th


The Europa league playoff final is now AZ Alkmaar v Groningen in to legs(15th & 18th)

Groningen have won the Last place to go in the Europa League they beat AZ 3-0 in the 2nd leg.


Waalwijk will be dropping down a Divsion after losing to Excelsior in 2 legs(4-2)


Joining Excelsior in the Eredivsle next season will be Dordrecht after winning 5-3 over 2 legs.

I Noticed that PSV won the Title last weekend, after watching there game live last week.
(Will try to update the league once I've got computer access again)
