Willian was never coming to Spurs, it was part of the plan to get Chelsea interested not that they are not getting Rooney,  We should make a move for Mata now and than sign Damaio assuming we have Lamela and the left back from Madrid.  What if Bale stays, we definitely could win the Prem with such a solid midfield and class all over the pitch?

Well whether he comes to us or not, one thing is for sure. Once a club is in business with another club over a player, and he has arrived for a medical, then presumably the player has agreed to go to that club, assuming he passes that medical. Once that happens, then unless the club who are buying declare that they are no longer going through with the deal, then no other club should be allowed to intervene and hijack the deal, otherwise where will it ever end ?

Willian played for Anzhi which is known as the joke of a club really, a rich one at that. I think no-one would be surprised to see him head to Chelsea. Good riddance, I'd say.

It may just turn out to be smoke and mirrors. Willian has a particularly clever/nasty agent. Chelski dont need him unless they are going to get rid of Mata which although possible is unlikely. I think the agent has brought in the Chelski thing to screw a few more quid out of Mr Levy. They may well succeed but they may well find they have pushed Levy to far and he tells them to stuff it. Willian is a good player but so is Lamela and also Pjanic who we have been strongly linked with so if we dont get him it's not the end of the world. It's fascinating to see how these things work and the next couple of weeks will be very interesting.

I think Abramovich had something to do with the stalling of the Willian deal. Russians pals together and all that. Willian is a bit of a mercenary and I agree with you, do we really want him?

Let's keep Bale instead!   :nods: :nods: :nods:

And he's probably pissed off because Levy wouldn't sell him Modric. Nobody says no to Mr Abramovic !!

He did; Abramovich was friends with the owners of the club.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

The way I look at it, it is Willian's lost not Spurs. No doubt we'll get a good player for that position.

Another piece of the jigsaw to building a great team. Now AVB has got to mould them from great individuals to a functioning team. Eric Lamela is a great young prospect.  :up:

We now have the best squad in many years thanks to AVB, Baldini & Levi. This will be the most exciting season  yet. I just hope we gel well and quickly and I am a bit nervous atm,

I will feel a lot better when we walk away with 3 points on Sunday.

I agree. As I said on another thread we just need for the players to jell together. Hopefully that won't take too much time.
