Tottenham have signed midfielder Christian Eriksen from Dutch champions Ajax for £11.5m.

The club revealed on Twitter:  "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Christian Eriksen."

Hopefully he can provide something a little more creative than the endless awful crosses and corners that we saw today against Ars*nal.
