David Villa?
« on: January 03, 2013, 06:48:06 AM »
There are reports that Spurs could be interested in David Villa. Yes, he is 31 and had a bad injury recently, but I feel his record speaks for itself. I feel he could do a very good job for us and maybe a new start is what he needs. Any thoughts?

I would think after all the comments about Harry recycling older players, there might be some adverse comments, we shall see. Personally I would say no, buy someone younger, someone who will play for the Club hopefully for 4-5 yrs, not 1 or 2.

Past he best, I would be disappointed if we brought him in regardless of the transfer fee his wages would be hefty and he really isnt worth it now IMO!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Zoltan "Thingy" is doing briliant at PSG at the tender age of 31, but this could be an exeption.

David Villa's recent injury could be a psycological problem in getting back to full fitness as it often happens to seriously injured players.

Small guy, good pace, talented, massive experience.  I would give him a go!

I'm not so sure about Villa either, I would like to see his countryman Llorente (27) with us. But, for some reason I tend to believe Villa will end up in a good club and score quite a few goals.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Older players can fill the gap of injured players. I read that United were interested in the Chelsea duo (Terry & Cole). For the same reasons.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I can't really see anyone, Man U included, paying messrs Terry Cole and Lampard 100k + a week to fill the gaps. But then, maybe I am out of touch with reality, and if they are prepared to do so, what chance do we have of aquiring the players we want for our likely 100 K absolute max ??
