Dawson can make a good captain on a good day. He still needs match practise, but he could do well tomorrow.

I think it will end up being Jan. For those who want Scotty as captain, don't expect to even see him play excluding the league cup and pre season friendlies. He is not an AVB type player. Never mind though, AVB will be sacked before long and then maybe we will see him back

This bit is interesting, thoughtful and a valid suggestion, backed up with a reasonable opinion of how you 'think' AVB sees a player like Parker.

Then you have to go and ruin your post by ending with this mindless, boring, repeated nonsense. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Just stay quiet on this issue. We all know what you think and if AVB is gone before the end of the season you can gloat all you like, in the mean time, drop it!
Maybe next year...

Jan Vertongen is still finding his feet at the club and the position that is best for him, I cant see him being made Captain not at this point, in the future who knows.

Of the established THFC players for me its either Dawson, Kaboul or Parker for the role or maybe even Brad with his vast experience and approach would be a good option.

On that note cant see Lloris wanting to stick around much longer he didnt come to sit on the bench!
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Would have been Parker but when will he return and how will he fit into AVB's plans.

Dawson would have been my choice but don't think he will be first choice centre back
as competition for the back 4 in generally will be competitive once  Assou Ekotto and Kaboul are fit
with CaulKer also playing well.

Possibly Vertongen, Kaboul    .........
