This is an absolute must-win. But I think you all knew that already.

If Spurs lose, we can still finish fourth if Newcastle loses or draws against Everton since goal differential is the first tiebreaker, and I doubt we're going to lose this by sixteen goals. By the same token, if the Goons lose against West Brom by two or more, Spurs only need a draw to lock down third on goal differential.

But the ideal scenario sees the Goons lose and Spurs... duh... WINNING.

  Let's not make this any more trying than it already is, boys! We need the full ninety-plus out there from everyone!

In theory we should of tied up third weeks ago and be hoping that Newcastle would be overhauling the Woolwich Wanderers... but in the grand scheme of things if you had offered us a chance of third with one game to go at the start of the season, I think we all would of probably taken it !!!

Well, we didn't finish third...

But you know what? We are still in the Champions League draw, though there is a chance we may not be in the final stage depending on whom we bang heads with. We could get someone relatively tough like Malaga or Lille, or we could get a pushover like someone who entered in the second round of quals All the biggest threats to Spurs going into the Group Stage come in the same round as Spurs do, though, so our chances of being drawn against someone who can actually beat us are fairly small.

I would have taken 4th in august and i won`t be dissapointed if we actually do get into the draw but .............it could have been so much better

Actually we are dependenton Chelski losing the final before we can start planning for the Champions League so don't get carried away yet !!!!!!
