I thought Luca had a decent, if not spectacular 1st half. Then when VDV didn't reappear, Harry shoved him out on the right, a complete waste of his particular talent through the middle.

I agree, but when you a short of cover, your most talented players can still perform out of position, even if it is not their best. However, as hinted at elsewhere, if we had a better right back, he could have come on and walker could play on the right.
